A physiotherapist can use a variety of manual techniques, as well as instruct the patient on how they can care for the scar themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Manual scar therapy involves gentle techniques that increase mobility and separate the scar from other tissues. This makes scars more flexible and softer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A scar is a fibrous tissue that forms at the site of damage to a large amount of basement membrane. The deeper the damage, the greater the damage to the basement membrane and the greater the risk of scar formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In scar care, scar mobilization plays an important role.
